मुंबई नगरी जो इतनी बार आतंक का शिकार हो चुकी है कम से कम अपनों से सुरक्षा कि उम्मीद रख सकती है . परन्तु अरुप पटनायक ने शान्ति के नाम पर देश द्रोह किया है.

The leader was a woman whose one breast was cut by one of the accused . The people whom those ghastly criminals had tormented inhumanly were all in march . The government buckled under pressure and IG V.D.Ram was transferred . He was with me as CSC in N.F.Railway , a such soft spoken person that you will never know if he could have such a firm fist . He had no stigma or remorse as he had absolutely firm conviction that smaller methods would not have controlled the crime there .People supported him to hilt .
Arup Patnaik is gone unwept by anyone inspite of what could be a similar strong conviction even if it suited politicians in power .
By not firing on crowd when self loading rifles were looted , when media vans were burnt and lady police were molested by hoodlums , when 45 police men were injured, he might have retained peace by his restraint but nation is very angry whether peace was worth the price paid . Police if not feared by criminals ,cannot control crime in India irrespective of any बकवास by humanright wallahs . By making police look so helpless in front of a handful of bad elements he for ever damaged the reputation of Mumbai Police and would have emboldened every petty criminal. It was very irresponsible for Police Commissioner of a city which had seen the most dastardly crime of Mumbai massacare by Kasab and group and several bombings earlier . Police needed bullet for bullet policy of his illustrious predecessor Juius Ribero . True it would have resulted in several deaths but with such weakkneed response he has invited terrorists for next big assault in Mumbai.
Worst was that the man who kicked Amar Jyoti was not arrested inspite of his photographs beibg sent by MLA . He was allowed to roam free . Similarly stolen arms were never recovered .
But same Patnaik had once recovered 3000kg of RDX . So what explains his inaction ?
The only answer is that he was acting as per his political masters voice .
NCP has home portfolio in Maharashtra . R.R.Patil was home minister even during Mumbai attacks . NCP ministers were incharge of death of Air India and for wild increase in food items price .

So today as Arup Patnaik lays down office no one is shedding tears .
One gone one more left but bigger worry is salvaging the destroyed moral of police .
Arrest and sentence quickly all those who indulged in vilence in Mumbai to save the city from another attack .
BJP and Shiv Sena lost another chance in becoming
relevant in state .
